Alaskan Communities' Responses Regarding the Economic, Sociocultural, and Environmental Impact of the Cruise Ship Tourism Industry

The phenomenological intent of this study was to discover the perceptions of the local residents, particularly in the support industry sector, of the current economic, sociocultural, and environmental impact of the cruise ship tourism in the Southeast Alaskan cruise ship destination communities of Ketchikan, Juneau, and Skagway.
