Leadership Edmond graduates largest class in history

The graduates of LE Class XXXVI included 43 Edmond citizens exploring the city and developing into local leaders.

The Edmond Area Chamber of Commerce recently celebrated the graduation of Leadership Edmond Class XXXVI at the Edmond Conference Center. Class XXXVI was the largest in program history with 43 members, including Ward 1 Edmond City Councilman David Chapman, Ward 3 Edmond City Councilwoman Christin Mugg, and Oklahoma House Representative Ryan Martinez. At the graduation ceremony, Michelle Schaefer, Leadership Edmond Class XV graduate, was recognized as the 2022 Leadership Edmond Alumni of the Year.

Leadership Edmond is a nine-session annual program designed to identify and develop local citizens for positions of community leadership and explore critical issues facing the Edmond community. The program is coordinated by the Edmond Chamber, and the latest class was presented by Edmond Electric.
